Installer does nothing on Windows?

• Run as administrator. If SmartScreen blocks it, More info then Run anyway. No window often means you grabbed an Android package.

Does the desktop client support Win11?

• Yes. Win10 20H2+ also works. Very old OS: read requirements instead of forcing compatibility mode.

Can't connect after install — failed setup?

• If the UI opens, setup likely succeeded. Switch node or protocol, then check the firewall.

Disable antivirus?

• Add an exclusion first. On managed PCs, ask IT — don't turn protection off.
