Installer does nothing on Windows?

Run as administrator. If SmartScreen blocks it, More info then Run anyway. No window often means you grabbed an Android package.

Does the desktop client support Win11?

Yes. Win10 20H2+ also works. Very old OS: read requirements instead of forcing compatibility mode.

Can't connect after install — failed setup?

If the UI opens, setup likely succeeded. Switch node or protocol, then check the firewall.
